Here's to a Happy 2019!

New Years is always a time for reflection and I’ve had so many amazing moments over the last year that I feel truly blessed for and which makes this time of year so lovely for me. I have met some extraordinary brides (and grooms!) in 2018 that I’m so fortunate to of had the pleasure to work with on their special day and I just wanted to say a special ‘thank you’ to all of you for making my job a total dream and for all your amazing support and trust in me to make your hair and make up as special as each and every one of you on the most important day of your life.

I’m a little late posting this (I was meaning to do it sooner although lots of amazing Christmas and New Years weddings were keeping me busy along with all the other festivities!) but the genuine thoughts are still there in wishing all of my lovely clients - from those I see every few weeks for haircuts to brides I see on their wedding day and hen party ladies - a wonderful, happy and healthy 2019!

I’m so excited to see what this year brings and can’t wait to meet the newly engaged brides who have booked their trials and wedding days with Powder and Pin already!

2018 was by far the busiest we’ve ever been with our flower crown hen parties and 2019 is already filling up fast with a total of 16 already booked in for this year! I’m really excited for all of these and have a blog post to follow shortly with some amazing photos!

2019 enquiries for weddings also started at the end of summer last year so if you’re thinking of booking with us for your wedding hair and make up this year (or even next!) please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment - we love hearing from you and are also still running our mid-week wedding discount for wedding parties for those of you who are getting married on a weekday (Monday to Thursday) in 2019.

Below are a few photos of personal highlights of mine from 2018 - I met so many special ladies it really was hard to fit everyone in so these are just a few! The picture in the middle of a bride thanking me with a hug after doing her bridal hair and make up in May - a photo which very much made me cry - so deserves to be in the centre with the amount of happiness it gave me!

One of my resolutions for the new year is to try my best to keep up with these blog posts - I really enjoy writing them and as I noticed I only wrote three in 2018 I’m really going to try and keep up to date this year with updating you all! In the meantime though please follow us on our Instagram and Facebook pages which are updated alot more frequently with the weddings, hen parties and people we’ve had the pleasure of styling :)

Happy NY once again and thanks for reading!
